Evolution Computing makes hand-crafted CAD programs, written in assembly language for performance, and with attention paid to the details of efficient use. We design our programs to be useful tools that help you get your job done. They are very customizable for the advanced user, and quick to learn for the new user. Each program has been refined by years of listening to our customers, both through direct contact, and through our online bulletin board.
One of the goals we strive for is to make well-designed products. We believe this means they should be consistent in use, and achieve power with structure rather than a large number of variations of basic commands. We try to organize the use of the computer screen to allow the maximum area to be devoted to your drawings, rather than looking like a complex control panel. We strive to support full use of the mouse or the keyboard to fit individual preferences, and include many forms of customization to fit your specific needs.
We make three different CAD programs, so that you can get the right capabilities for your work.
If you are new to CAD, please see What is CAD? for some useful information.
We would appreciate it if you would take the time to read Why use our programs? which explains in a bit of detail some of the many reasons we feel our program is an excellent choice for your main design and drafting tool.
You might also wish to browse through our online sample drawings gallery to see example drawings and renderings that have been made with our programs.
While we do not recomend our older version 6.5 for new customers, we now offer it for sale and active support as a courtesy to our existing customers who have 3rd-party add-ons unavailable for v7, use extensive customization for v6, or simply prefer its familiar way of working:
